Investigator

Get maximum insight into the operation of your chip with the Investigator.  By merging multiple data captures into a single coherent simulation-style view, the investigator can give you much deeper captures than would otherwise be possible.  The AutoView Waveform Extrapolation algorithm automatically identifies equivalent signals and ports in the design, and applies known conditions such as register settings, and mode ports.  The tool also recursively traces captured data forward and backward through the RTL design to give you as much information about the operation of your chip as possible.  Using these techniques, the Investigator greatly expands upon the directly observed data. The tool interfaces with standard waveform viewers; the popular GTKWave is shipped with every Veridae package.
